Day 1

6.30am Depart from your Broome/Derby accommodation and travel through Kimberley cattle country, entering Nyikina (pronounced Nig-a-na) land.

Travel to Jarlmadangah community and meet your guides and other local community members and learn about some history, culture, skin groups, tools, weapons and art followed by a lunch and a walking tour of the community.

Then onto a rock art gallery enjoying billy tea, damper and dreamtime stories.

Off to Mount Anderson station to set up camp.

Travel 5 minutes down the road to the billabong for spot of afternoon freshwater prawn (cherabyn) fishing before returning to a BBQ dinner and camp fire.

Marvel at the sunset and open sky as you camp under the stars in domes and swags.

Day 2

6.30am Rise to have breakfast then break camp.

A short walk to historic Mount Anderson Station to discover the buildings and remnants that remain amongst the newer buildings used now.

Experience a 2.5 hr camel trek at Mount Anderson Rock Hole for a swim and morning tea while learning about bush tucker, tracking skills and bush medicine.

Return to enjoy a freshly made lunch.

End your tour by visiting the stirring and historically significant Lynungoodjung cave to hear dreamtime stories of Woonyoonboo and more over afternoon tea.

3.30pm Depart for Broome/Derby stop at Willare Bridge Roadhouse (approximately 4.30pm) for a short break and say goodbye to any guests, before arriving back at approximately 6.30pm.
