Day 1

6.30am Depart from your Broome accommodation and travel through Kimberley cattle country, entering Nyikina (pronounced Nig-a-na) land.

Meet and greet your local guides at the overhanging rock art site.

Travel to Jarlmadangah community Cultural Centre where you will meet other local community members and learn about history, culture, skin groups, tools, weapons and art followed by a lunch and a walking tour of the community.

Enjoy an optional afternoon walk from the Rock Hole to Kalgabin (Honeymoon Springs) or stay with the bus to help set up camp and prepare dinner.

Marvel at the sunset and open sky as you camp under the stars in domes and swags.

Day 2

6.30am Rise early for breakfast then break camp.

Take a short trek up Kalgabin, an old reliable water source and camping spot for the Nyikina people.

Head back to the bus for a short drive before embarking on a 2 hour journey up the Grant Ranges via a local swimming hole where you will stop for a moment, take a dip and share some morning tea.

Find your way back to the bus and make your way to the boundary fence for lunch and set up camp. Spend the rest of the day as involved or relaxed as you wish. Afternoon activities include hunting and fishing.

Late afternoon/early evening you will be joined by others in the community for an evening of camp fire stories.

Day 3

6.30am Rise to breakfast and then break camp.

A short walk to historic Mount Anderson sheering shed for photos before a tour of Mount Anderson Station.

Experience a 2.5 hr camel trek at Mount Anderson Rock Hole for a swim while learning about bush tucker, tracking skills and bush medicine.

Return to enjoy a freshly made lunch with local guides.

Visit historically significant Lynungoodjung cave to hear dreamtime stories of Woonyoonboo and afternoon tea.

3.30pm Depart for Broome stop at Willare Bridge Roadhouse (approximately 4.30pm) for a short break and say goodbye to any guests, before arriving back at approximately 6.30pm.
